At the Pike Market in Seattle, 2 years ago, my husband bought me a Peony.  I didn't know it was a June legend.  I had never even seen one before.

I wanted to get away from the small and compact bouts I usually see. I added in a small vine of light purple bell flower.  It still feels simple and has a balance.  I wrapped the bout with left over packaging paper from Anthropologie.  You don't have to use ribbon and lace.

Fire and Green

When you don't have enough flowers to pick from your garden you keep test arrangements on a small scale.  I didn't want to pick all of my flowers so I made a boutonniere.  My Hunny is the model.  I
